HOLIDAYING AT HOME | DAY TRIPPING

By Emily Beetleshack
The original author of The Beetle Shack, Emily is a chronic over sharer and collector of unnecessary consumer goods. In a past life Emily was a high school Visual Arts teacher. She always enjoyed the ‘naughty’ kids the most; the ones who were resistant to following the rules and questioned the boundaries. They were interesting, challenging and funny. When she was pregnant with her first child she could be heard saying, “I hope I have a cheeky child, one that speaks his mind and is rebellious in nature”. Unsurprisingly, she did. In the archives of the Beetle Shack you'll find her tales of raising her own ‘spirited’ children whilst swanning about the house dressed as a fruit salad.

BOHEMIAN TRADERS A/W COLLECTION 'REVIVAL'

Photographed by David James for Bohemian Traders

Today Bohemian Traders launches the first stories in their A/W 2015 collection ‘Reincarnate’.

Building on its legacy of wearability and timelessness, Bohemian Traders has curated this seasons collection with over 60 pieces across 3 feature looks: Sports Luxe, Classic Cuts, and New Bohemian.

Sports Luxe is iconized with thick, cotton French Terry, wide stripe prints and oversized dresses, sweatshirts and skirts. Essential wash and wear items for everyday life.

Classic Cuts translate drop crotches and office collars of linen with elegance, transitioning women from work to weekend with ease and sophistication. Forming the building blocks of your wardrobe, these are quality staples that will serve you for years to come.

New Bohemian retains a soft spot for the 1970’s. Dresses with luxurious embroidery, lace inserts and sumptuous velvets are essentials of this carefree style. Tailored jackets with cuff detailing keeps the look modern. Mix them in or layer them up this season.

Affording the modern woman’s wardrobe with a covetable ‘bag of tricks’, 'Reincarnate' blends classics with trends so women can express style on their own terms.

Wow, what a marathon it's been but the A/W collection is now LIVE!! What do you think? Anything on your wish list?
