There's nothing sweeter than a home made gift. These Ice Cream Sundae gift boxes are super easy to make and perfect for any home of Ice Cream lovers (that's every home - right?) If you’ve ever had an ice cream sundae you may already have an inkling of what to put inside. This recipe includes some classic toppings and a few necessities to eat said ice cream!

Toppings of choice include but are not limited too: gummy bears, mini m&ms, mini marshmallows, and colorful sprinkles.

Place a nice sized amount of your toppings into clear bags and you can use card stock to pretty up the tops! (Patterned sticky tape would work well too!)

You could also make your own homemade Hot Fudge Sauce and Caramel Sauce (you can find a Caramel Sauce by Smashed Peas & Carrots recipe here!) and put them in little mason jars with tags just cause they are so stinkin’ cute!

Handwritten or stamped tags are a nice touch and give the whole gift a "Drink Me" Alice in Wonderland Feel. Go crazy with card and gift tags.

It's a great idea to an array of cones, cute paper bowls, wooden spoons, and a cute ice cream scoop to the gift so that everything that you need is ready and good to go! Oh and of course, it's fun to tie everything off with some summer-y yellow baker’s twine (or whatever you have in the wrapping box).

Then you just package everything up nice and tidy in a box and send it on it’s way. So fun and such a great way to surprise someone at Christmas and brighten their day! Totally interactive too, obviously.

Original recipe found at Smashed Peas & Carrots here.
