Its that time of the year again.. Snuggles and gumboots, shorter days and hearty meals. But, along with that comes the dreadful sniffles and colds. Aside from pharmaceuticals, this tea is a great way to help boost your immune system! It is full of anti-inflammatory and, really, what's better than a warm cuppa anyway?
Here's what you'll need
1 small knob of ginger
juice of 1 lemon
2 teaspoons of turmeric powder
2 teaspoons of honey
Slice ginger finely and pop it into a teapot
Add the turmeric powder and cover with boiling water
Let it steep for an hour then add the honey and lemon juice
Have it hot or cold, either way it is divine and really good for you!
