Sit still? Who does that?
Back in my music teaching days, I really enjoyed playing different pieces of music to my class and getting them to create a story or document their feelings as they listened. I found it so relaxing to just sit still and ‘feel’. And the unique things they came up with were always such a treat.

The amount of time I sit still and listen to music these days is very limited so I really enjoyed listening to this piece and escaping (for all of 7 minutes).

HERE is ‘The Dance of the Yao Tribe’ performed on traditional Chinese instruments.

I hope you enjoy! My kids were really effected by this one. If you feel inspired, why not share what you ‘felt’ or thought of while listening.
