Wearing: Sunset Blouse

Autumn is my favourite season. It really is - cool mornings, warm days and crispy evenings. It's just delicious for living, a little more tricky for dressing though. I've got my Distressed Skinny Jeans on high rotation and have been living in my Sunset Blouses - lightweight cotton voile, floaty and easy to wear. They offer a pinch of warmth in the cool of the morning but allow comfort and breathability as the day gets steamy.

*edit* A few people have asked about the sizing in these jeans. They are a pinch generous and have a lovely amount of stretch. I'm typically a size 10-12 and I'm wearing the 10 in these. They are a high rise but not too high- just below the belly button (see you later muffin top). I haven't been able to wear slim fitting light coloured jeans for years and they have made me look too chunky- these are genuinely flattering. They also come in black.

I'm wearing a SMALL in the blouse which is firm across the bust (c cup- gosh, lets talk details why don't we) and lovely and floaty through the body.

  1. Hey Em, you look fantastic! What's the sizing like on the skinny leg jeans?? Wondering if my postpartum hips would be able to squeeze into them! x

  7. You are a constant inspiration. maybe it's shallow to be inspired by how pretty and put together you are, but you make motherhood look good but still feel real.

    1. oh lady, one day, when I have the guts, I'll post a pic of me in my trackies. That will show you the REAL 'real'. Just a warning- there will be no makeup and probably no bra!

  10. I really like how the accessories make the outfit. The head scarf is stunning and the necklace creates interest. I have been stuck wearing floral dresses for some time now and stepped away from jeans a while back. You have inspired me to go back to my wardrobe and reintroduce myself to them :-)

  11. Oh, I love it!! Gorgeous, as always : ) It's still too warm up here for anything remotely close to jeans, but I have been longing for a skinny jean for many years, and now I have my eye on these lovelies...
