Wearing: White and Floral
The days have been hot so breezy fashion and 100% cotton is essential. I've been living in my Freedom Skirt from my new side project, Bohemian Traders and embroidered frocks from Little Tienda. I've also been living in my pyjamas, but I'll spare you the sight.

Looking fab Em! Can't wait to receive my Freedom skirt (although the irony of the name when tending to two demanding little people isn't lost on me!!)
ReplyDeleteYou'll love it Lucy! It should be with you this week xx
DeleteThat Freedom skirt - I love how you can wear it as a dress too!
ReplyDeleteOoh ... that skirt ... It's love at first sight.

Before i even openef i knrw this would be full of bohemian traders.......i think you are going overkill on the publicity here.....it is a blog after all, not just advertising space....
ReplyDeleteI've been doing wearing posts for about 2 years now anon, it's not chaining. But thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it :)
Deletep.s you can expect to see plenty more Bohemian Traders product on my blog.
It isnt the wearing posts that bother me, i just think that your blog and your "voice" has changed in the last few months, sponsership appears much much more than it used to. I think you use your position (as a blogger) to take advantage of the free products that are sending you! There have been several posts that were so heavily c/o it was like a brochure!! When once i used to really enjoy your posts i feel lately like its no longer "you" talking but just advertising and oppurtunities to use your sponsers in your posts. I think many blogs have understood that this bothers many readers and have changed their blogs accordingly so their blogs arent overflowed with materialistic clutter. I mean Target and Woolwoths???? I think its a shame that you have selled out your once humble, honest blog and turned it into something that i feel doesnt represant itself honestly.
DeleteI think when exposing yourself with a blog on the internet, you sometimes have to take the sweet with the sour, therefore i dont consider my previous message or this one as "bullying", i think its just a critical feedback. I will not be reading your blog anymore (after really enjoying it for such a long time) I do not read blogs to be exposed to a constant stream of advertising (even if there is a small c/o underneath...)
Hey again Anon. Thank so much for coming back to me here. I'll just refer you back to this post

It clearly outlines my intentions and reasons for writing this blog. I don't mince my words when stating this is a space for me. I never wrote this blog for 'the reader' or for you personally. I choose the content at my discretion, I write sponsored posts at my discretion. I really enjoy what I do and I'll continue to do so.
I think you've made a really wise choice not to visit here anymore.
also, should you wish to continue this conversation, I'd love it if you'd be brave enough to do so under your real name.
Deletethanks so much

ReplyDeleteAnd where on earth do you live?! The rest of the world is iced over in snow and here you are in a gorgeous white dress. Which i love by the way :)

ReplyDeleteI bet your pjs are fabulous! Every outfit is gorgeous, I had an embroidered mexican frock in Red, very yum. I have clicked onto your links for the shops you purchased from and I instantly died and went to my kind of heaven!
ReplyDeleteawesome outfit! you look great, love every piece!
ReplyDeleteperfect summer dressing x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Em!
ReplyDeleteThat first outfit is so gorgeous on you-- I totally think we should have a "given up on life" pajama parade fashion show with all the blogging mums-- it would be fabulous to showcase what we really look like -- and pose as if we were wearing diamonds and gowns
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I love these looks so much. Very beautiful and completely perfect for summer.
ReplyDeleteYou are so freakin' adorable! I just want to smoosh you!
ReplyDeleteYes, the tell it like it is in a rude way are always anon. It's your blog!! Do what you like. Speaking of boho traders I have slept in my bracelet and worn my kimono twice, I love, thank you!
ReplyDeleteyes, I'm more than open to genuine criticism when people are more than open with who they actually are. It's easy to take the 'moral high ground' and inform someone that they've sold out when you do so anonymously.
DeleteHell yeah.
DeleteI love your outfits, so floaty and gorgeous. It looks like it is very beautiful there right now, very different to how it is here! :-)
