I'm so excited to be attending 'LIFE: CAPTURED on Wednesday 23rd of October. Not only will I get to meet my long time blog buddy, Pink Ronnie in the flesh but it will also be an opportunity to hone my photographic skills under the guidance of Trish from Tealily Photography.
Together Trish and Ronnie have created an intensive memory keeping and photography workshop aimed at photography that’s real and honest, and memory keeping that’s simple, beautiful, and tangible. Through the workshop, the duo hope to equip others with the both the skills and resources to document their lives in a beautiful and honest way. Their aim is to teach both the technical and emotional aspects of documentary photography, right through to editing, photo organisation, photo book design and layout, Project Life albums, journalling, memory keeping systems, and general organisation of memorabilia. They will cover the fundamentals of using Lightroom (BINGO, awesome!) for photo editing and digital file management, and Adobe InDesign for design layouts. The workshop will also include a live photo shoot, a design project, and time for Q&A.
Sounds like my kind of day! Team it up with delicious gourmet food and minimal children and BAM, you've got a winner!
Trish and Ronnie are currently offering an early bird discount of 10% off. Please do get in touch with Ronnie via this link if you're interested in attending (it's rather affordable).
Look forward to seeing you there!
p.s have a STUNNING weekend friends! Dave and I have an almost kid fee night (babies only half count) and plan to make the most of it with beer, soft cheese and as much sleep as we can handle!
