31/52 {two girls and a boy}

Zeph: Every day you get a little higher and a little closer to your goal of climbing on the roof. Each day I get a little more nervous and a little more convinced that chopping our breathtaking magnolia down might be  great idea.

Pippi: Big girl sleeping in mummy and daddy's bed. Your favourite special treat.

Elke: A little bit of outside time to yourself. So often you are eagerly 'entertained' by your siblings. You save your biggest smiles and coo's for them.

  4. Oh don't even whisper about that tree! My boy is happiest climbing, and has been up on the roof several times under dad's supervision (which is questionable). It is just something in the boy genes, embrace it, I just taught mine not to climb any branch thinner than his leg. mel x

  5. Oh Pippi and those rosy cheeks. I remember being the middle child (with an older sister and a younger brother) and getting to sometimes have my afternoon nap in mum and dad's bed - definitely made me feel a bit special, which is nice for us middle siblings! xx

  7. Three gorgeous photos! Pippi looks so comfortable and content wrapped in those covers, my little girl loves our bed too. Oh how I loved climbing trees when I was younger (the tomboy of four girls), they say kids know their limits...not very reassuring when they're that high up though! Little Elke is such a sweetie :)

  10. Don't chop the magnolia! (i'm desperate for one in my garden....wish list)
    Boys especially NEED to test their limits, explore and build their self esteem. With 4 kids (3 are boys) I was always holding my breath, but hubby always says "if they hurt themselves it's a good lesson"
    I hope you have a lovely week Em x
