There is literally SO much to do before this baby arrives, not least of which is preparing a place for it to sleep.
For a while, we toyed with the idea of shared sleep spaces for Zeph and Pip, or putting the baby in with one of them but in the end, decided that our life would easier of everybody just had their own room - Dave and myself included.
We have a four bedroom house with an unusual layout, which means that one of the rooms is actually like a walk through storage space with a built in that we have been using it as an office/ junk room for the past 5 years. It's now going to be filled with a baby - needless to say the mass accumulation of useless 'stuff' must be dealt with.
Over the weekend Dave and I relocated as much of the junk as we could manage in preparation for Baby Beetleshack's debut.
Naturally, I followed this up by dreaming about the perfect nursery decor. I've been inspired by the above design board created by Beautiful Briar of Sunday Collector. Gender neutral, fun and fruity while still being modern and stylish. I've also been pinning like an absolute nutcase.
Give me another week or two and this kid will have a cot and an empty draw, promise.
If you'd like Briar to design a mood board for you, you can find her contact details here. And while you're at it, PLEASE visit her little lady's room- it's pretty close to perfect.
