Stills: A Weekly Collection
1. Now that I have experienced the goodness of this candle, I will never be without one again.
2. My darling Zephie and I have taken to mid day couch snoozes while watching David Attenborough. It's been so lovely to doze off next to him.
3. Garden rewards.
4. Coconut.
5. Weekend slip and sliding almost exactly one year after I wrote this post. Funny how the seasons really do guide us.
6. I've been bleaching all our white linen. Towels, sheets, curtains- nothing will escape the soak bucket. The pleasure this brings me is truly outrageous. Only a nesting woman could be so delighted by clean stuff.

p.s. Loved the message you left me the other day - it takes a woman who's also thirty-something week pregnant to really understand how another thirty-something week pregnant woman really feels... big love to you too.
I love your crochet blanket next to Zephie :) I'm always amazed at David Attenborough's documentaries! Your bleaching activities are certainly a sign that you're nesting dear Em...

oh how lovely, the couch shot and the crochet, gorgeous! The garden smiles...heart-lifting. The bleaching soak-bucket delight so funny...i always wanted to clean behind the fridge, oven and door tops when I was getting ready for the final push! it takes new-life in this house to get a clean oven.xxx
ReplyDeletePerfect napping babe. And my kiddos were out till 6pm (just now) playing with the hose on the trampoline. We are definitely squeezing the very last drop out of our summer! xo
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your shot of water fun in the garden - the joy! I'm a big David Attenborough fan so a program a day sounds like a fantastic idea. This is definitely a time for you to get as many naps as you can... and such a soothing voice to lull you into sleep!

I sat down with cooper to watch Africa on Saturday evening, was certainly a lesson in nature, the baby turtles were eaten, as we're the fish, the birds and every other beautiful animal! All he wanted to see was a lion, haha! X
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny that you shared Zephie snoozing as I have shared my little one snoozing on the chair for this week's' Weekly Stills'. This is my first time I have linked up so thank you for the opportunity. Great way to socialise with other gorgeous bloggers like yourself. H x
