Each week for the past 29 weeks I've awkwardly stood before my husband while he awkwardly navigates his way around the canon. Between us we laugh awkwardly, stand awkwardly, smile awkwardly and discuss possible poses that might make my 'ham bone' and back fat appear less substantial. Mostly we fail and resort to our awkward ways.
Each week my bump has been clothed by the completely generous Pip from Fillyboo. Probably the only Australian owned maternity label around that makes clothing to cater for the pre and post bump mumma. Clothing that I know will be packed into my hospital bag (these pants and this top especially), unpacked and worn again. Clothing that caters for breastfeeding, hot summers and cool evenings.
If there is one word to describe the way I like to dress when pregnant, it's 'easy'. Clothing has to be easy to wear and easy to wash- with Fillyboo there's the added bonus that it's, you know, nice. It's also designed in Australia by an Australian mumma (hello brilliance) and great quality.
You can find Fillyboo on Facebook here (you really should) and peruse the collection here.

Thanks so much to those of you who commented on my C-Section Birth Story yesterday. As always, it was a pleasure to read your thoughts and experiences.

You are glowing Em! Exciting times ahead. And what gorgeous clothes from Fillyboo... I may have to fall pregnant just so I can wear them. Xx
ReplyDeletesuch a pretty dress! you look great!
ReplyDeleteI would have never guessed you two were awkward...you've look adorable in each outfit. You look fantastic...I, on the other hand, always looked frumpy when I was pregnant...and felt frumpy! :)
ReplyDeleteI love when I find a way to support a hard working mom. I think it's fabulous you wear and promote her clothing line.
Also, I didn't get to comment on your last post but, I am so impressed how honest you were about the births of your babies and your feelings. They are a gift from God, no matter how they come upon this earth. This is one reason I am so happy to have found your blog...I love how you talk real about real life.
