Yesterday evening
my sisters and I wandered over the hill and far away to frolic about in fields with
Mexican florals and marigolds. While they sipped James Squires and looked beautiful I ran around them with the camera snapping pics, slapping mosquitoes and asking them to take their pants off (bohemians don't wear pants now, do they?). When the drizzle subsided and the clouds moved aside we witnessed the most glorious golden light hit the surrounding gum trees, turning their silvery bark into the petals of my favourite bloom, the humble marigold.
It was all very appropriate really.
Pizza and chatter kept us (and our husbands/ almost husband in your case mermaid Nicole) up until all hours and today, i'm feeling decidedly exhausted.

i LOVE those dresses!! i used to have two dresses like that when i was a little girl, my granny bought them for me in mexico. when i was in high school, i would wear the dresses as shirts. i was weird! but they were so pretty i couldn't help it!
