SUPERVISION

This sequence of photo's makes me laugh out loud every time I look at them.

Oh that tension between a father and a surfer.

Just watch Dave's body language change from kind-of-sorta-watching Zeph play to oogeling the ocean with complete abandon*.

He's a good man, that Dave.

The Holiday Grump (what I call the Ocean)

* of course I was there watching Zeph too (we're a good team like that). he was safe.

  7. This is great. My dad was EXACTLY the same when we were kids. Drove my mum a bit spare I think, his affair with surfing.

How long til Zephy is out there on a board with Dave? Bet he can't wait!

  10. i saw this post this morning as i was on my way out the door. it truly left a smile on my face all morning. as the 'other half' of a surfer, i get this all the time. our lives revolve around the ocean, we live overlooking it, we holiday at it. he is always thinking about it, looking at it, checking the wind and swell or spending time in it. surfer's live for the ocean don't they? you have to love someone with a passion.
