the things dads do that mums never would



Dave is always throwing the kids up into the air or swinging them around by their arms. They love it, squealing with delight before he even begins.

On this particular occasion, it was his 30th Birthday and I can't help but have a good laugh at that last photo where he appears to be showing his age.


Dave, you are flipping excellent. You make us all smile (more than once) every single day.

    It's where the Mum photoshopped the dad out of all of the 'throwing in the air photos' so it looks like the kids can fly!

    Toddler C has just learned the word "more" so after everything good there are requests for "more, more, more, more"

  5. Haha! I love that whole series of looks "argh, I am man! Watch me throw you, tiny human" to "whooowoo, just give Daddy a second guys- I need to recharge!" Love it!

  7. I do some of that stuff with my boys but Mr goes further, rougher, higher than me...I suspect even more so when I'm not anywhere near! These photos are just gorgeous!

  11. You know what ? It's one of the questions I ask myself when I think (dream) about my girl and I having a baby.....who'll do the throwing in the air? Among many other things, will be a job for the uncles. Love this post x
