Holiday Craft - Peg People and Beaded Bracelets

It's no secret that we love craft here at The Beetle Shack. These days Zeph gets his dose at Pre School twice a week and we stick to playdough and the sand pit at home. But it's school holidays and there is no stopping us now. We've been painting, drawing and making pretty peg people.

What's been your favourite holiday craft so far?

Pippi's sweet little skirt c/o Master and Miss - the most lovely organic children's clothing around.
Craft packs c/o kiddie create. thanks guys- excellent timing and easy to use.

  3. my daughter loves turning peg people into ballerinas with a bit of tulle.
we collect all the small boxes from recycling & stick them together to make robots (embellished with stickers, pipe cleaners & bottle tops!)

  4. gosh, i'd forgotten about the good ol' peg people. i remember making lots as a kid, using mum's dressmaking scraps to make clothes for them. you are going to have to include your bead bracelet in your next wearing post, you know ;)sarah

  6. I had a whole family of peg people when I was a child...I would while away the hours in a complete fantasy world.
Thankfully our kids enjoy crafts just as much as I do. Lately its been anything from painting to play dough to sculpturing and jewellery making. Gotta love the holidays.

  9. So cute! I can't wait for my little gal to be old enough to enjoy crafting and creating (and at the same time, I really think that she should stay 1 year old forever)

  12. Hi Emily - I'm comenting here instead of the correct post sorry ... I think ur new blog look is lovely - its clean and streamlined I like the black and white pic (I love black and white pics) I think thw white is an awsome way to showcase ur photography and I love the new colours and how they marry the site together - fresh fun and funky. I view the site mostly from my blackberry and it kills my battery but its soooo worth it (went to buy a car charger especially ;-) I liked the old write up on who u are - I take it u wrote that? It was ... Wimsical and comfortable sort of like an old comfy jersey - u know the one with all the holes that u love but won't get rid of?!? I think maybe a link to ur first post bio and other important posts so that newcomers can find them easil? (If u have this already just ignore me .. I just had to look at the website look quickly so may have missed it) good for u on the new look its lovely!!
