Swinging

We spent the afternoon swinging. As the sun slowly left the sky and the air began to cool, we lingered there, underneath the house until Dave arrived home and the weekend officially began.


For the next two days I plan to ignore the washing basket, wear shoes in the house so I can't feel the crumbs underfoot and indulge in my family. Because for me, at this point in time, they are completely irresistible.

  6. We are heading outside tomorrow... it is going to be a 'say goodbye to winter' day... Get rid of leaves, weeds and sweep, tidy and prune things. I have bought some seedlings and will spend the day pottering about. I think I will also make a cake... and some cheesecakes.

    Yep, sounds like a great Saturday to me!

  13. I just got to the point where the crumbs on the floor are doing my head in and resolved to spend a good solid week cleaning up the home- spiderwebs, crumbs, cupboards and all. But I'd rather be doing what you're doing :-) Enjoy!

  14. I always clean the house Monday & Friday so i can enjoy the weekend, sans laundry & vacuum. Dishes are another story but that's Ok as it usually means my husband is cooking & he's home, he's ours. Soaking up this sun after a very high high week with too many low lows. Love Posie
