Gifts from The Lady Baby

When I collected the Lady Baby from my parents place last Monday she presented me with a bouquet* of daises from their garden. Running towards me with arms outstretched she yelled 'mumma, wower".

It was a beautiful reunion.

I put them in a vintage crystal vase on the window sill and there they sit with their faces turned to the misty morning light.

* when I use the term bouquet, i do so lightly. It was four flowers, one of which was just the little yellow part with no petals.

p.s the winner of the Pura giveaway has been announced. Head over here to see if it was you. Stay tuned for a super exciting giveaway this week.

  15. How Delightful.. the term "Wower" is gonna stick in my mind forever-- I love little kid fab vocab-- their own versions of words, I hate when they get self-conscious that they're saying it wrong and stop. My daughter used to say at age 2-3ish-- "PLease pass the parrots" meaning home canned pears.
