A Prayer

'grant me humility of spirit. give me the faith to love the poor, the widow, the orphan, and the oppressed as you do, and to be of the same spirit as "the least of these". replace all pride in my life with true humility. teach me to walk today, humbly trusting in you as I share your love in word and deed'.

Today, a friend popped in with a bag of vintage goodies and a home made meal (with produce from her  own garden). I was reminded of the goodness of my creator and inspired to be a little less selfish. Thanks Kell.

  4. How wonderful. I was reminded of lots of goodness tonight, after I've felt a bit flat for the last few days, when I popped outside into the garden with a wee torch to pick spinach leaves, rocket and spring onion for our salad. It was enough to make it all better again. x P.S. Lovely to bump into you today...

  6. A beautiful prayer, from a beautiful soul. I also strive to be a little less selfish, with each new day. I think that age makes it easier for us to achieve that xoxo
