photo's by Tim from this shoot.
While the kids have an ABC marathon, i'm snacking on left over pavlova and visiting your blogs. When I return home, my house will be clean and with any luck the kids will have a sleep.
Life is fabulously interesting.

Oh I love going to mom and dads!
ReplyDeleteit's the best huh!
DeleteWhat a great idea, it's lovely to escape the mess.
ReplyDeleteThat's so lovely that you have that kind of help......

I love it when Mum offers me a cuppa ... I know that we are going to sit down and catch up on .... pretty much nothing. I live just a few minutes away... she picks up my son from school once a week, we see each other all the time, we text daily but the cuppa that Mumma makes ... makes my day :-)
ReplyDeleteMmmm fruit cake.
ReplyDeleteha ha love that you are eating pav and reading blogs at your folks place - it just makes me love you all the more!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like such a nice day!
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the hardest part of living so far away from home...Skype and email are great but when you are a bit sick there is nothing like going home to your mom!
Glad you are having a cozy day...and that you will return home to a clean house! A double win!
I don't know how you do it! It's such a full on gig at the best of times- but to not have your parents to help- almost impossible.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by our blog, its always nice to discover new blogs this way! I am really enjoying looking through your archives it reminds me of Australia and is making me a little home sick but in the nice nostalgic kinda way. Plus your little family is so sweet. Oh and hope you all are feeling better by now!
ReplyDeleteSally.
Looks gorgeous at your Mums- lovely pictures. Jxx
ReplyDeleteHow lovely and fabulous! Sadly my parents live 250 miles away from me so i can't hang there... But it must've felt SO good to open the door on your clean, shiny house when you got home. :-)
ReplyDeleteNothing like hanging with Mama and Dada for the day. There's a warmth and comfort about the childhood home isn't there Em? Glad to hear you're being nurtured and loved sweetheart. Sorry to hear you've been so unwell. Maybe write this week off and look to a better, more beautiful one, next week xoxo
