Once the lay out was decided upon I put my energies into finding ways to add colour and texture into the room. My journey led me to the most delicious Etsy store imaginable. I can't help but sing it's praises and those of the owner herself, who is both kind and generous. Go and visit Yurner, her shop is filled with antique rugs, Turkish Kilim pillows, silk and velvet scatter cushions and truly lust worthy fabric by the metre.

I was so in love after my first order arrived that I have gone back and added some silk and velvet fabric by the metre to my cart- it should be here within the next week!
