The Flu Fog

As the flu fog slowly lifts we are rediscovering the joys of Autumn. The warmth of the early morning sun is luring us outside to bounce on the trampoline while its still wet with dew. The garden is calling our names and the sandpit demanding a fresh load of golden yellow grains. Jobs that have remained undone for days are now impossible to ignore - washing MUST be folded and the perfect place for our new Picasso print must be found.

This Easter long weekend we will be spending time with our friends and family - cooking, eating, gardening and playing.

If you need some kitchen inspiration head back here to find some sweet recipes (or maybe make hot cross buns?). I'll be sharing our first Month of Sundays this Sunday (duh) so feel free to do the same over at your place!

  1. I'm loving that Picasso!

I am suffering pregnancy fog, and wondering if the washing will stay unfolded until the new baby is six months old. That's normal, right?!

  4. Glad that everyone is starting to feel better!

I love the fuzzy focus on your pictures - a good representation of what it feels like to be sick with the flu.

Hope you have a relaxing Easter Holiday.

  9. Oh honey, it's the worst!! I have had the flu once as an adult, nicely timed with being home alone with 4 children - taking them to school was my reward for lifting my head off the pillow & having 5 hours of sleeping during the middle of the day. Oh the agony. It was last Olympics, literally from day 1 to 16, at least i was entertained!! Once you've had it, you shun anyone who is up & mobile saying "i have the flu" brutaly with "NO, you have a cold, flu is like DYING!!"
Happy Easter BeetleShackers, hope you can enjoy the flavours of Easter tidings, love Posie
