Last night, after brewing a pot of tea, Dave and I snuggled in to watch 'Artscape' on iview. We were introduced to Rob Mcbride and Debbie Ryan,
an architect duo from Melbourne who work tirelessly to bring colour and life into buildings. The vivid hues they use and expressive application of form (not to mention Debbie's religious wearing of fuchsia lipstick) won me over within minutes. These two are partners in both work and life, they have made a family together
and a thriving business. Their designs are unexpected and exciting, they even designed a residential extension that looks like a cloud- but you'll have to watch the doco to see that!
