On Thursday the lady baby was listless. When i put her down on the couch she curled up and went to sleep. When I sat with her on the bed she snuggled into my chest and slept a little while longer. This followed a week of especially clingy behaviour - a couple of trips to the doctors and an x-ray later i was informed she has pneumonia. As a result, things have been pretty lazy around here. We've been hanging close to home, listening to
these melodic tunes, working in the garden and relaxing in the shade of the magnolia, only heading out for fresh coffee and supplies.
if you're on
instagram you would have been bored by the bombardment of koala cuddles, but if not- this has been the general state of affairs.
How's your weekend shaping up friends?
Did you catch some sunshine today?
poor baby x sending loves
ReplyDeletePoor girl, hope recovery is rapid. In the meantime, sending big hugs your way. Photos are gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteAw poor little girl. And poor mama. Hope you ladies are ok. (How beautiful is a sleeping baby on mum's chest?)
ReplyDeleteI've been hanging out with the next door neighbors kids today, Rosie and Ben were busking out the front with their harmonica's, but I think Rosie thought she was waiting for a bus. x
Poor bub, but what lovely slow hugging time you both got. Sometimes it's good to just stop and regroup[
ReplyDeleteOh poor little darling, bless her. Sorry to hear she’s been so unwell. It’s so awful when they’re ill, but the clingy cuddles you get are at the same time so precious. Take care and get well soon xxx
ReplyDeleteEm, how awful! Lucky she's got such a lovely mum who cuddles her through the bad bits. You must be exhausted. Hope she's better soon. Kellie xx
ReplyDeletePoor bubba, pneumonia is so painful. I can't imagine how hard it is for a baby to go through. Hope she's better quickly.

ReplyDeleteOh sweet little darling girl. Nothing breaks my heart faster than seeing a sick or injured little one. I say injured because my Mr4 seems to be doing lots of crazy 'boy' things of late and leaving himself somewhat worse for wear. Hope your little koala is all better soon xo
ReplyDeleteYou are such a beautiful Mother Em!
ReplyDeleteIt's times like these you just want to wave that magic wand,
But in the meantime, koala cuddles will have to do ... !
Much love, & God speed xx

ReplyDeleteOh, poor Lady Baby. Good job on the koala cuddles - my midwife always told me you can't cuddle a baby too much and and I think that's true for all kids! You just can't give too many cuddles! All the best. Go away, nasty pneumonia!
