Hehe, I had one a while ago and almost did today too.... my kids don't know what's happenned! ha - maybe I should do it more often! I'm off to bed now after my almost tanti this afternoon! xx Rach
Good on you! Days like this are essential. Enjoy the rest of your weekend xo
I love that...have never tried it.... U have got me thinking x
Genius. I kept sneaking off to the bedroom to lay down today. This growing bubba is killing my back. Cohen though was doing his very best not to let me rest.
I need a day like this. Maybe I can get my cranky-pants on tomoz!? x
Way to girl!!
Best therapy ever, you show them how to do it. Love it when a child storms off in a huff, it's kind of like "thanks, i was just about to ask you to remove yourself" & everyone gets a chance to cool down. Feeling better?? Love Posie
Your hubby is way more empathetic than mine....
I haven't done that for ages. Maybe it's because if I was to, they wouldn't notice, so there is no point. My 2 boys are head down into lego at the moment, and could run around dressed as a flamingo and they wouldn't notice. The joys of them getting older and I have time to escape and be in another part of the house. Love that blanket... I need some bright colours on my bed! Enjoy your humpf, I'd do a full pedicure and read several magazines whilst you are there! Lou x
I'm guilty of a few mummy tantrums xx
Oh sweet lord I am queen of the Mama tantrum! Though my flouncing never lasts long, unfortunately. But it always seems to work wonders when I do it. Love those tootsies peeking out from that gorgeous granny rug. Hope you feel better now :o) xo
Must try that! Cute rug :)
Oh Em! You make me laugh girl!!! I'm not sure that I've ever technically tried that... but when I had morning sickness over the past couple of months, hubby changed all the DIRTY nappies 'cause they made me want to puke! I value blokes that know when their ladies need a little respite from the daily grind. :)
Ha, we all need to do that sometimes! I love it for the slight thrill of feeling like you are playing hookey from school or something ;)
I would love to snuggle up under that gelato colored granny rug. How refreshed you must have felt peeling it off and heading back to the fray.
you have given me an idea. i haven't done this is a long time!! with peter at work so often and only one adult at home it doesn't make for easy hiding and the kids wouldn't last 5 minutes without food or drink or something...there is always something!! have a lovely weekend em. love the colours in your nanny rug. xo.
ooooh I love a Mummy tantrum every now and then! It really gives the household a jolt! xx
Can I throw one even if I'm not a Mum? I have a Mum, is that close enough? ;)
I have Mummy tantrums too sometimes. I think it's okay to teach kids that we all need a time out sometimes! Better than yelling or losing your cool. xx
So funny!! I need to do this! :) Love the blanket.
I self-impose myself to the naughty chair,.....which is actually my bed and it's upstairs so I go there to give myself a good talking to and have some "time-out"
Good on you! We all need to do this from time to time. Love your blanket! Looks very sweet, what a lovely place to chill out in.Hope you're feeling back to your non-tantrummy self now. :DRach x
Oh Em, You are my hero!I wish I could throw a mummy tantrum but I think my kids would just laugh at me and then ask me to get them something to eat.Hope you feel all refreshed!
love the fruitiness of this crochet blanket..x
I'm a little bit jealous...but good on you. Oh, so love this blanket.
Thanks so much for your words of encouragement, advice and solidarity. xo em
