...and avoided responsibility in every way imaginable. I closed the doors to my bedroom, drew the blinds and sulked under my favourite fruity nanny rug.
It was bloody brilliant, I should do it more often.
Hehe, I had one a while ago and almost did today too.... my kids don't know what's happenned! ha - maybe I should do it more often! I'm off to bed now after my almost tanti this afternoon! xx Rach
Genius. I kept sneaking off to the bedroom to lay down today. This growing bubba is killing my back. Cohen though was doing his very best not to let me rest.
Best therapy ever, you show them how to do it. Love it when a child storms off in a huff, it's kind of like "thanks, i was just about to ask you to remove yourself" & everyone gets a chance to cool down. Feeling better?? Love Posie
I haven't done that for ages. Maybe it's because if I was to, they wouldn't notice, so there is no point. My 2 boys are head down into lego at the moment, and could run around dressed as a flamingo and they wouldn't notice. The joys of them getting older and I have time to escape and be in another part of the house. Love that blanket... I need some bright colours on my bed! Enjoy your humpf, I'd do a full pedicure and read several magazines whilst you are there! Lou x
Oh sweet lord I am queen of the Mama tantrum! Though my flouncing never lasts long, unfortunately. But it always seems to work wonders when I do it. Love those tootsies peeking out from that gorgeous granny rug. Hope you feel better now :o) xo
Oh Em! You make me laugh girl!!! I'm not sure that I've ever technically tried that... but when I had morning sickness over the past couple of months, hubby changed all the DIRTY nappies 'cause they made me want to puke! I value blokes that know when their ladies need a little respite from the daily grind. :)
you have given me an idea. i haven't done this is a long time!! with peter at work so often and only one adult at home it doesn't make for easy hiding and the kids wouldn't last 5 minutes without food or drink or something...there is always something!! have a lovely weekend em. love the colours in your nanny rug. xo.
I have Mummy tantrums too sometimes. I think it's okay to teach kids that we all need a time out sometimes! Better than yelling or losing your cool. xx
I self-impose myself to the naughty chair,.....which is actually my bed and it's upstairs so I go there to give myself a good talking to and have some "time-out"
Oh Em, You are my hero! I wish I could throw a mummy tantrum but I think my kids would just laugh at me and then ask me to get them something to eat. Hope you feel all refreshed!
