When Flying Solo

My house was a TOTAL mess this morning. Honestly, not the kind of mess you have when your friends come over and you have cleaned, tidied and shuffled and then casually remark 'oh, sorry about the mess'. No, not that kind of thing. I mean complete and utter filth. For real.

So after dropping Zephie here I pottered around folding, ironing (who the hell am i?), making beds, cleaning rooms and washing. It felt good to achieve something.

I made the Young Man's bed, created a little reading corner and lined up his trucks ready for play. You can see the rest of this room here

A little bit of lady linen... I wonder if Dave will object to all the pink or if clean sheets will be a welcome treat despite the colour. See more here

Time was spent watching the Pipster while she 'slept'. See behind the bedroom door here

I gasped in disbelief when this arrived in the mail. Christmas?

 Washing was hung

and finally Chai was sipped and vintage linnen was snipped.
What did you do today? Did you enter this?

Have a wonderful weekend my friends

  10. Love all of it, the colour, the tidy trucks, the peeking out baby, the bedding and promises of sewing. Are you eating the baby puree again? or is that baby helping you sew? I've been sewing with my gang, making yoyos and headbands and owls....pop over and have a peek. melx
