A Buck Short

Or a buck in total. Yep, thats more like it. I picked up this sweet tapestry at my local oppie for $1. Craziness. Who would not want a pastel floral tapestry? eehum. Anyway, I though it was super cute and quickly took it up to my local picture framers- perhaps too hastily. It looked better before (what exactly did I do wrong here? Jokes about woolen tapestry aside).

Either way, it will be the perfect addition to the study once this desk is finished and it's all tidied up. Oh and that killer print next to it is from my bloggie friend Kerry from *seventy tree*. Visit her shop to get yo self one.

  4. I got a wool Pottery Barn kids rug for like $8 it is so pretty with little butterflies and flowers perfect attention to my lil girlie's Paris room. Well my point is it gets dirty so easy and I see why they did not want it ! Whiteish Wool hard to maintain to say the least !

  6. Lovely prints, tapestries and the like excite me too. I currently have a whole stack of posters and prints gathering dust that I really need to frame -- nice work on getting it done!

  8. it's the framing, isn't it? i sometimes take things out of their frame, and out goes the charm... funny thing, really...
but it does still look good, though, and it will do exaactly what it needs to do once you have it up where it needs to go. pfiou... ;)))

  9. Yes, my experience with vintage prints and tapestries (I too am a fan of a woolen masterpiece) is that they always look better 'as is'. I'm not sure why... anyhoo, it still looks cute, and I can't wait to see this study x
