Me too...that was until I left the car running due to 40 degree + heat and made the car die...it was rather embarrassing having so many people banked up behind me and having to be pushed out of the carwash :)
You need to find a cafe with big windows and a car park right out the front. Leave the kids in the car (windows down) and watch them while you sip your coffee and read a magazine.
Also, my kids would get really cross with me if I let them sleep during the car wash. For them it is a form of entertainment.
I can't believe they dont' wake up!! I drove to the entrance of one once and Penny completely had a spastic attack...my car stayed dirty. have a lovely weekend!

Do they freak out? Daisy once had a complete melt down and we couldn't get out! It was quite hilarious!

Entertainment for the tin lids and a job done at the same time. Our kids used to love it.
