Sunday Sensations

Oh man, I needed today. It was the blissness. Really. Just us at The Beetle Shack making pillow slips, building chook pens, prettying up the studio, sleeping and loving life. As I write my cheeks are flushed with Coopers Sparkling Ale. I'm one happy lady.

What did you do today? Tell me, go on.

  4. Love love love your cushion collection and the colour of your cane lounge- glorious. Our like minded men have both been doing chook related things today- we were building a chook run at school as well - are you getting chooks soon or do you have some we haven't seen yet? By the way has that baby been into the sparkling ale too? She is just so rosy and gorgeous. melx

  6. Gee you're clever! Looks totally amazing!!

Our day ... we went to Bells beach to look at the massive waves and see if anyone was crazy enough to be out in them (that was for hubbie) and then we went to visit some wonderful friends who have just moved into their new house only 25 mins from us (that was for me)
And then hubbie cooked dinner (for the kids)
    Cant really complain can I.

  8. Love your weekend photos!

The best part of my day was having the sun stream into our backroom (as the wind blew outside) and I laid on the carpet with the kids and we rolled around for ages. It was precious.

  12. Aaw, I wish I had a day like that today. :(
My day was awful - super unproductive, a huge case of the cbf's, raining and very gloomy outside, freezing if you weren't under a blanket, then the power went out for 1.5 hours, and when it came back on our water pump decided to die. No water at all for us, now that's a problem! Now I have a grumpy husband on top of it all(his team lost the footy & a much needed tool broke, aswell as the cost of a new water pump!)
But I am so glad you're day was so lovely!
    Bring on tomorrow I say!

  16. I agree with everyone else -the cushions are fab. And your sunday sounds a bit like mine. A bit of crafting, mine was crochet and my husband spent time rebuilding our vegie patch, followed by a refreshing beverage!

  18. Wowee you were busy and the results of your clever creativity are bliss indeed!

It's wonderful to finish the weekend with a cold ale surveying all that you've achieved and although my products aren't anywhere near as glam as yours I'm happy with all that I managed to accomplish. A 'Stella and Stirfry' shared with Captain V rounded out what has been a great weekend.

    Happy day!

    xx Felicity

  23. It was a super fun Sunday! Yes, all the fabric is from Ikea- i wanted stuff that could get grubby and then go in the machine. They were so super simple to make (no zips) so yea, got all of them (except the two standard ikea ready mades) done in a couple of hours. Blissness.

and miss muchen, its pale ale tonight, baby.

    maxabella- he bluffs.

xo whoo hoo party on wayne.
