Imitating

I am constantly amazed by the way our Little Dude imitates us. Our words, actions and mannerisms, all of it. He speaks in exactly the way that Dave and I do, wandering around the house repeating phrases like - "Em, where are you?" calling from the kitchen, naturally I respond with "that's mum to you".

He puts his little hand up to his mouth and giggles. It's cute.

Dave is often greeted with "Good day at work Dad?" when he gets home before receiving a big smoochie kiss and cuddle while the Lady Baby hears 'Oh hello, you little cutie baby' on repeat.

The other day, he imitated me in the kitchen with surprising accuracy

making a lot of mess and not having anything tasty to show for it, he even dropped a manderin and exclaimed 'damnit'.

  4. How gorgeous is he!! Love all of the cooking. When they start to say all of the same things as you it makes you realise just how much influence you have them doesn't it. What a cutie!!

  8. A little chef in the making :) Funny what they pick up. I'm sure it was a very cute "damnit"! My daughter thinks it's hilarious to address us by our first names.

  12. Deeelicious! That little concoction gives your chorizo stew a run for its money... I think he's ready for masterchef junior. And very cool outfit, he'll blend right in. Chefs are the new rock stars these days!

P.S - 100th post tomorrow. Don't lose sleep my friend - it's just a crappy give away. Which I've been trying to pull together all week. I can't organise a piss up in a brewery. Ah well. xx

P.P.S - has that neighbour of yours had her baby yet or what? I'm dying here...

  15. It's funny what can come out of our little one's moouth isn't it. They'll say something and you'll just think where the hell did you hear that... then realise it was you.

These photos are so much fun by the way!
