Home Days, The Best Days

After our little winter escape, Dave took an extra day off to laze about the house and get some jobs done. These days are my favourites. When everybody is together, outside, track pant clad and busy with their own projects.

After heading out to the local beach for a coffee and a walk, we came home and got stuck in. The wurr of the washing machine set the pace (except for the young man, he is constantly turbo charged). Dave worked on some seating for our fire pit, I painted a buffet and hutch that was recently handed down to me from my Mum and Dad, while the Young Man made mud pies.

I love holidays, but i'll be honest- I like home more.

What are you loving? Why not tell PaisleyJade about it?

  1. I agree I love to go on holiday, to get away from the everyday chores but I love home so much more. The hutch is looking good. xo

  11. Isn't there just nothing better than pottering around in your garden? Loving the look of that hutch, I have a similar one in scary yellow pine awaiting a paint makeover to store my fabric stash. And boys and mud, mine is 5 and he is still right into it anytime. Just wait until that gorgeous baby sister is being smeared from head to toe - happened to Liongirl around age 1. melx
