Bummer of a day to be sick too, Jo and I were going to take the kids to the Play School live show and tonight was supposed to be ladies night.
I have watched the sun move through our bedroom today, while I haven't felt great, it has been nice to stop and rest. This evening the Lady Baby and I are napping and listening to Beth Orton's 'Trailer Park' while the Young Man snores in his room.
What did you do today while you weren't feeling crap?

I am sorry to say (because you missed a great show!) that I took my little boy to play school. Mind you, a whole day in bed sounds good to me too!! :-) But I do hope you are feeling better soon. x
ReplyDeleteaw, hope you feel better... i have a day off today as lots of people in work are on strike. nice.xxx

ReplyDeleteoh no... at least you had a cutie keeping you company. And bless you for blogging even tho you are poorly! Me? Legs waxed, youngest to docs for throat infection, row with partner and generally feeling a bit sorry for myself cos I am 40 soon! Get well soon hun. Lou x

Sorry to hear you're feeling crap. If it's any consolation, the most exciting thing I did today was attend the K-Mart toy sale. I'm not sure what's worse.
ReplyDelete...surely that precious face is just what the doctor ordered? Hope you're feeling better soon xx
Naw, I hope tomorrow sees you waking healthy and in better spirits :)
ReplyDeleteWe had a pretty lax day today, the rain kept us indoors.

Feel better soon. My hubby had a wisdom tooth removed so I was the one looking after everyone. Light a candle, have a cup of tea and snuggle with a comfy pillow.
ReplyDeleteoh no :( I do hope you are better tomorrow morning, and you play in the sun, rather than watch it out the window. Take care xx
ReplyDeleteMmm.... I spent ten minutes today talking and singing to my little three month old and that was nice. Hope you feel better soon, and thank you for the loveliest comment on my blog!

You poor love, terrible to have a day like that.
ReplyDeleteI just felt crap for other reasons, but at least I wasn't bed bound.
Hope you're feeling better real soon... love the pic of the lady baby... she would have to make you feel better :o) xo
The day is just starting here in California, so Im catching up on blog reading, having coffee. Then I have to go meet a fence guy for a bid at our rental property, THEN, I might be attending a HOME BIRTH today! How exciting is that!!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon. xo
you poor love. i applaud your man and mourn ladies night for you. i meandered around an op shop and time evaporated for me. in the afternoon, the two year old snuck up behind me and stuck his finger in my bum crack while i sat in a parent-teacher interview for the big boy.
ReplyDeleteOh lady, sending bucket loads of get better in flash wishes up the coast to you. Hope they find you in that bed. I'm glad you've got that cute snuggle companion next to you! Kellie xx
ReplyDeleteIt's tough when you're sick... but at least we get to realise that the world actually doesn't stop when we do. And that TV is a godsend at times! Just relax and go with it. x
ReplyDeleteBeing sick is the pits isn't it! I hope you feel better soon, and that the rest of your crew continue to feel well :)
ReplyDeleteI spent today continuing to learn how to be a mum... this time last week I wasn't one! What a week it's been... the best.
