Poem For Emily

After calling my husband with an SOS late last week he bought my attention to this little poem that he jotted down for my birthday last year. Today, i need to be reminded- He loves me- I'm a lucky lady, best I don't forget it.

all at sea

all at sea
on a cresting wave
alone in the crumbling night

the lighted
beacon, shining brave
throws hope of a land in sight

-for emily

If you'd like to read a little more of the handsome man's scribble you can do so here (be warned, he says naughty words).

  1. That's beautiful! Is that the entire poem? I love it's short, sweet simplicity. Hope it helped with the SOS call. Kellie xx
