Crocheted Blanket
The other day I was fortunate enough to have a spare moment to do a little vintage shopping, and I struck GOLD. I got this beautiful crochet blanket for $3 (thats right, $3). This winter it will share its time between the lounge and my knees.
Later on, if generosity gets the better of me, I may share it with the Little Lady as I have been lusting after this blanket from Lark and it's kinda got the EXACT same vibe (minus the price tag).
I also found another little something special that I plan to giveaway later in the week.

I am totally in love with your new crocheted blanket! Those rugs just scream childhood for me... but I still adore them to this day. $3 is a steal... good work Emily!
ReplyDeleteI have a few of the old patchwork blankets, but knitted ones, not crocheted. My Mama is a marvel with the knitting needles... so they have some extra special meaning as they keep our legs warm through Winter.

$3 is a crazy price for that blanket! I am making one at the moment, similar with the coloured centres and white outsides for each granny, and it's taking me forever! Every spare moment is taken up with this bloody thing! I'm making it for my daughter's bed and would like it done while she's still a child! :) Enjoy your treasure!
