Why NOT To Wallpaper Your Toddlers Room

The thought of the young man sleeping in a big bed excited me, i wasn't thinking about the endless get ups, calling out and clunking of toys behind the closed door, no no, i was thinking REDECORATE!!

I had ordered the most amazing wallpaper from UK based company isak a few months earlier and had planned to have it put up when the big move happened- armatures move.

Take a look at what happened.

EEEK. I felt sick when I walked into the room confronted with a bare wall and a cheeky faced boy. Doesn't it just make your heart sink?

Thank goodness it's been fixed and firmly glued down! I'll try and post some pics of The Young Mans completed room... if I ever get it tidy.

  1. !!! OOOH NNOOOOO. thats crazy ems! hope you've recovered.

  2. I know! It's all fixed now and glued down with SUPER strong glue! It better not happen again!

  3. love it. am stoked that wall paper is making a come back. such a great feature wall. great cushion collection as well. and the chair. love ur style. :)

  4. Oh man...that is so a boy thing. Good luck for the rest of your wallpaper. It's super cute!

  5. I feel your pain!!
I'm even scared of wall stickers

That wall paper is super gorgeous though

  6. hahahaha em!!

I'm so glad I've read this, I'm already excited about the redecorate possibilities, and my baby is only 9 months old!

... I personally wish I'd maybe not been so bloody superficial and bought the semi expensive cot that I did, because I had a similar heart-sink moment when I saw how my little jaws bambino had chewed through the timber throughout teething.

    Le sigh.

  7. Boys. That's all I have to say.

Thanks so much for your words of encouragement, advice and solidarity.
