River Cottage Night

Tuesday, pretty much my favourite night of the week. For the past couple of years we have indulged in the delight that is Hugh Fearnley-Wittingstall, the genius behind River Cottage. The bumbling English man is living the dream, working his own land and being faithful to his ideals of self-sufficiency, food integrity, and the consumption of local, seasonal produce.  We have been inspired by these ideas and attempt to do the same, if only once a week. So tonight it's home made burgers with tomato chutney and baked cheese cake for dessert.

Check out Hugh and his team (I have a minor crush on Gil), read about his ideas, get a copy of his recipe books from your local library and then invite a bunch of your friends around for dinner.  Make them all bring something from their garden.

  1. Hi Emily,

I've been sent across to your lovely blog by Jodi from Che & Fidel... So glad that she put a link to your blog in her post today!
I love love love Hugh... my partner and I are obsessed and I too have a wee crush on Gil... and a rather large one on Hugh (weird I know).
Anyway just wanted to say hi as I was super excited to find another River Cottage fan :)

  2. Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite
reason seemed to be on the net the easiest thing to be
aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people think about worries that they plainly do not know
about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
Here is my web-site Raspberry ketone Diet

Thanks so much for your words of encouragement, advice and solidarity.
